An obligation established by a court judgment or other enforceable title must be fulfilled voluntarily in accordance with Article 622(1) of the Code of Civil Procedure.
If the debtor fails to fulfil the obligation voluntarily, it is enforced through compulsory execution, which begins upon filing a petition for compulsory execution with the competent judicial enforcement officer.
Compulsory enforcement may be carried out only on the basis of an enforceable title pursuant to Article 632(1) of the Code of Civil Procedure.
Enforceable titles include the enforceable judgments provided for in Article 633 of the Code of Civil Procedure or the final judgments provided for in Article 634 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
Thus, if you are in possession of an enforceable or final judgment ordering the payment of compensation / damages, or a sum of money, regardless of its source, you may contact our office to have that judgment enforced.
